Postpartum Depression & Anxiety Treatment

I'm a certified herbalists and studying functional medicine student offering health consultations for women's health as a new mom. I am skilled in herbal remedies that are safe while breast-feeding. We will uncover your health history, your birth trauma and recognize if much of your anxiety and depression is due to blood loss trauma from your surgery. I have a unique perspective as I have gone through postpartum depression, insomnia, anxiety, and rage myself, and would love to work with you.

Postpartum Depression Treatment at Home

As a mum of twins, I felt like I couldn't leave my home, and I didn't leave my home until decades later. There's so much you can do from home now to heal your body

  • Step one is to get your blood drawn and make sure you're looking at a full thyroid panel, iron and ferritin, Vitamin B and Vitamin D, along with blood sugar markers.

  • You can get a really fast script through Joi and Bloke for around $147 in the New York area. You can have the script within 24 hours.

Then you'll meet with a specialist, and you can decide whether you want to take their suggestions or take this bloodwork to our health consultations.

  • You can book the postpartum introductory offer, and I will support you for the next 60 days.

Tara Gregorio, certified herbalist.

How to treat postpartum

We have to look at the whole picture of your experience. Most likely, you’re depleted in valuable vitamins and nourishment.

Additionally, you may have had trauma from the birth itself, or childhood trauma is “retriggering” you.

Here’s where you begin…

  • ⇢ If you lost a lot of blood or are struggling with heart palpitations, shortness of breath, or fatigue, we need to check your ferritin, thyroid, and blood sugar levels

  • ⇢ If you can’t sleep, we need to look at low progesterone, GABA, and calming your nervous system

  • ⇢ If you’re exhausted waking up, we want to raise your cortisol in the morning

  • ⇢ If you’re screaming and yelling, we want to support your liver

  • ⇢ If you’re breastfeeding, we want to use herbs that are breastfeeding-safe

I specialize in supporting moms with:

  • ⇢ Postpartum anxiety, depression, insomnia, and rage

  • ⇢ Heart palpitations and mood dips

  • ⇢ Pelvic floor strengthening and recovery

  • ⇢ Natural remedies for infants and toddlers

  • ⇢ Breastfeeding Safety

My approach is designed to help you feel calm, supported, and hopeful again as you heal.

Kind Words From Past Clients

  • "Tara was so knowledgeable and helped give me so many pointers when it came to my postpartum brain fog and anxiety. She has so much knowledge about herbs and led me to some great blends. She helped with much more than just herb blend recommendations though, she was thorough and tried to brake down all my symptoms. She gave me many resources and set me up to succeed. She actually listened and would follow up with me. I will definitely be using her again for her knowledge and compassion."

  • "I am so grateful for Tara's help! I was dealing with postpartum anxiety and insomnia and, thanks to her help, both issues have MUCH improved. I am so appreciative of how she followed up with notes after each session and checked in between sessions to see how I was doing – she truly cares! Tara is so knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate, and I highly recommend working with her!"

    -Katherine Latella

  • "Tara is extremely supportive and knowledgeable- she is an incredible wealth of knowledge on postpartum support. Her course on PPD/PP Anxiety has been so helpful, and it's given me so many tools to use as I navigate the newborn phrase and beyond. It's also SO wonderful to know which herbs are safe to use while breastfeeding. So thankful I found Tara - I highly recommend her to new moms going through it. I'm a mom of two, and I wish I had had these resources when I had my first baby. Thank you Tara!!"
